CME Peer Review Hires Vice President of Strategic Alliances

Greencastle, PA –Sandra Weaver, MS has been appointed to the position of Vice President of Strategic Alliances for CME Peer Review, LLC.

Ms. Weaver brings a wealth of continuing medical education (CME) industry experience and knowledge to the organization including 20 years of training & development experience with the past 8 years specifically in the area of CME compliance, accreditation and program development.  This includes involvement in the Medical Education/Communication Company Alliance (MECCA) provider section of the Alliance for CME including acting as the Communications Director for 2 consecutive terms and serving in the role of MECCA provider section Planning Committee member.  Additional experience includes serving as a member of a task force for the Alliance for CME Best Practices – a committee assisting in the development of a web-based training tool for CME professionals.

Ms. Weaver is currently President of the North American Association for Medical Education and Communications Companies (NAAMECC).  Previously she held the positions of President-Elect, Secretary, and Board Member, and chaired the Compliance Committee and the Program Committee.

In addition, Ms. Weaver holds a Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification.  By relying on this proven methodology for analyzing and solving process and quality concerns, she has a proven track record in establishing efficient processes within all aspects of CME.
